Personal channel reporting
YouTube collector
Purpose
The collector uses YouTube API Services to collect the owner's channel and video metadata, including privacy status, plus performance statistics, retention, concurrency, and Reporting impressions and click-through rates. It collects no individual viewer identities or comment text.
Google access and operation
It requests youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly. Local collection is manual; a Google-side daily reporting job exists. No local collection schedule is currently verified. The collector does not delete YouTube content or cancel the Google reporting job.
Local reports
Data is saved as local SQLite, raw and generated CSV files, and metadata summaries. Runtime credentials use Windows-user DPAPI. Analytics files are unencrypted and current permissions allow other Windows users to read or modify them.
